Blooms by Moonlight: A Love Story Fantasy Landscape

Blooms by Moonlight: A Love Story Fantasy Landscape

Some paintings start with a sketch.
This one started with a longing.

I didn’t know it at first, I just felt drawn to twilight tones and the kind of romance that feels like a secret kept just under the skin. I wanted to create a place where love wasn’t loud. It wasn’t dramatic. It was whispered. Hidden. Dangerous.

The kind that could only exist in a world built for dreamers and romantics, the kind of world I love to paint in my fantasy art practice.

The Scene That Revealed Itself

As I painted the hills, the castle, and the path that curved toward the water, I began to felt this longing. It was that feeling of coming home after a long time away. I began to imagine coming a queen returning home to her love. Maybe I was feeling some Throne of Glass vibes.

I never painted them into the foreground, but I see them there every time I look at it.

The Painting That Makes Me Feel Love

Blooms by Moonlight became a world I wanted to step into somewhere sacred, glowing and beautiful. The colors are dreamy, but there’s something in the air. Something I couldn't explain.

That’s what I love most about creating fantasy art prints, they give us portals into imagined places that feel more like home than reality ever could.
