Getting Wrapped Up

This is my first post! So thank you for being here!

I don’t know about everyone else but I’m feeling the pressure this year to get my shopping done early. I’m already half way there and it’s not even Thanksgiving. It does make me feel weird. I like to take my time and really think about the gifts I give and the personality of the person I’m shopping for. Though admittedly, I usually end up going back to my original idea, I like to really make sure I’ve seen all of my options and yes definitely that is the gift. It’s probably the perfectionist part of me, that I work really hard to try and tune out.

Back to the gifting……One of my favorite things is wrapping presents. I don’t know why but there is something satisfying about cutting the perfect size of wrapping paper for a gift. You know when you don’t have to cut any extra and you’re not doing extra folds and wadding up paper under layers of tape. Then placing that present under the tree and the lights reflecting off the paper and bows, ahhhh.

I like to choose gift wrap that looks good with my tree. So I can’t wait for my Candy Christmas wrapping paper to get here.

I have a very colorful tree with ornaments I have collected since I was a small child. My husband and I have added so many more over the years. It’s so fun to put them on the tree every year and talk about when we got them. So our living room decor is bright and multicolored. Of course, when I think of Christmas that is where my mind goes. Bright colorful and sweet. That’s what inspired the colors of my Candy Christmas collection.

Mood: holiday parties, music, laughter, sweets, family and friends. To me the candies are dancing to their favorite holiday tunes then someone said don’t forget the sprinkles and they start raining down like confetti.

You can purchase goods with my Candy Christmas collection designs at Spoonflower.
